OLPC is asking for content, three tier's worth! SJ Klein is drafting “request for content” (RFC) to be revealed shortly for a that three-tiered repository of content distributed with
Laptop.
- inner tier: will be 20MB of "free" content to be pre-installed on
every laptop, video, sound, images, diagrams, and text
- middle tier: 10-50GB of content for each school
- outer tier: the largest, it will reside at the regional level and have materials freely available to all laptop toting students
