While European OLPC enthusiasts are confused by a ZDNet UK story saying that no official details were available about the G1G1 Europe launch (even though the article is based on an e-mail interview with Nicholas Negroponte!) our fellow enthusiasts across the Atlantic can look forward to a weekend with meetings on both coasts.


Talk about XOs and enlightenment.

Per the story below the OLPC Learning Club DC will have their monthly meeting this Saturday to learn about the connection between bees and XOs.

A couple of hours later the OLPC San Francisco November Meetup takes place at SFSU's Downtown Campus. In this month's meeting Sameer Verma will talk about his recent experience of OLPC India and education, technology, etc in Indian villages. Also Joachim Pedersen will outline his plans for an OLPC XO repair center at SF State's Engineering department.
