Interview with OLPC Association's Director of Learning Claudia Urrea

Even though it's already been a week since the OLPC San Francisco Community Summit 2011 ended I haven't even come close to processing all the input from the event. However it's certainly safe to say that it was a great conference which gave me an opportunity to connect with people I hadn't seen in a while and finally meet others whose work I've been following for a long time.

One of these people was Charbax from ARMdevices.net. His passion for all things OLPC in combination with his video-blogging background resulted in the creation of olpc.tv where he has been collecting all kinds of videos releated to OLPC. Of course he also brought his camera to the summit and recorded many interviews with the participants.

I haven't had a chance to watch all of his interviews (and I haven't even started with the ones Bill Stelzer recorded!) just yet but will definitely do so over the coming days and weeks and then highlight ones which I find particularly interesting here on the frontpage.

To start off I'm including this 6 minute interview with Claudia Urrea (OLPC Association's Director of Learning) which sheds some light on the work she's currently doing to better understand how pupils are using their XOs. If you're interested in more details about her work on this front then I'd also recommend you to take a look at the slides of her session which was called "What kind of things are worthwhile learning?".
