I spoke with David at the Linuxcaffe this evening, and this Friday is fine - although possibly not the best day for regular meetings.

I think it would be good to treat this one as a Meet-Up, very informal. Show up any time after 7:00 - I may not make it until 7:30 myself. David will throw out any hangers-on by about 9:30 or 10:00, I expect.

That should give us plenty of time to pick out the natural leaders and gauge interest for a larger spot or a different day.

I think a new thread should be made to say "Toronto Meetup - Feb 1st" and details so people see it... I don't know about making it this time as there is suppose to be a very big storm coming in on Friday. I have plans later in TO that night but will have to wait and see with the weather
