My XO came in last week.  I played with it a bit, making music with tamtam and of course doing a bit of drawing.  I had turtle graphics on my Commodore 64 years ago so the concept isn't new, but DANG, the examples are inspiring.  I want to quit my job and stay home to play.

I had to change my wireless router to 128bit to get it to work, but I was able to connect to the internet.  So far so good.

If anyone is in Lower Bucks or Montgomery County, PA and is interested in meshing please email me through the forum.  In the meantime, I'll try to figure out which local T-Mobile sites are compatible.

Is it true that Starb*cks is dropping T-Mobile?  TFB.

Hello, Welcome ! I'm new myself, just having received my XO in March. I'm in Ocean County, NJ and would be willing to travel to your area to meet up and mesh. Yes, T-Mobile is apparently leaving Starbucks, but apparently, it is some kind of phased withdrawal; some Starbucks should have T-Mobile for a while. How to figure out which ones, I don't know, aside from calling individual places to ask.

There's a group in Philadelphia but I don't go into the city.

I work in NJ near Trenton.  Maybe we can split the difference?  Olga's Diner in Cherry Hill?  The restaurant in Ong's Hat?  We can still mesh.  I can also experiment with using my laptop and broadband card as a wireless hotspot.

There are also plenty of bookstores that might have T-Mobile.
