The soon to be released Ipad (I amwaiting for the 2.0 MaxiPad) has no flash support but instead uses Html5 video.

Can we spoof the User Agent String and piggy back on the wave of Ipad love to get more video content to the Flash challenged XO laptop?

I am hoping the answer is yes.

" US netizens can try it themselves by setting your browser to spoof the iPad's user agent and hitting the source below (for as long as it lasts) "

XO-1: Is never going to run Flash, but is certainly flashy!
(If you want Flash, get an XO-1.5 running OLPC 11.2.0 or XOpup Grin )

Speaking of Kindle.

I installed KindleforPC on my XO and it seems to work.
Running DebXO 0.5  I installed wine.  Then used the Beta Version of KindleforPC.exe.
I set winecfg to win98 compatibility.

Still Messing with it but it works.  It doesn't use the fullscreen when rotating the screen 90 degrees.

I first tried the newer KindleforPC download from Amazon but it did not work,  installed under wine but nothing loads after that.  The Beta version is smaller  5.4MB download.
