First, OLPC needs:
1) Functional, adaptive management,
2) a viable business plan, and
3) money for operations and development.

If that doesn't happen...well, you know the rest of the story.

This is  a bit cryptic... would you elaborate?

In my mind the sect mentality and practices of the open source community (what a contradiction in terms...), coupled with the "itch and scratch" approach when open heart surgery is needed (and thus will ends up with a corp that is also ugly because of the scratch-generated skin tears) is a problem!

Are you referring to that?
