Just open a terminal and

sudo
password
apt-get install deluge-torrent

Setup your torrent and download folders, i've found it best to limit max connections to 50, max upload speed to 10, active torrents and upload slots to 1.

Is already there! Under "network" you you should have "Transmission Bitorrent Client"!
Otherwise download with synaptic
also, does any1 know of a better media player?
VLC for video, Audacious (simple but light) Rhythmbox (middle of the road) or Amarok (better but heavier) for audio. gtkpod for (windows formatted) iPod connectivity.

XO-1: Is never going to run Flash, but is certainly flashy!
(If you want Flash, get an XO-1.5 running OLPC 11.2.0 or XOpup Grin )

VLC for video
Code:
sudo apt-get install vlc
Audacious (simple but light)
Code:
sudo apt-get install audacious
Rhythmbox (middle of the road)
Code:
sudo apt-get install rhythmbox
Amarok (better but heavier)
Code:
sudo apt-get install amarok
gtkpod for (windows formatted) iPod connectivity.
Code:
sudo apt-get install gtkpod

Good luck!
