Mike, do you (or anybody else who knows about this) have a link to a summary of available consumer options for OLPC power adapters?  Is there an up-to-date wiki page or something?

I was at Radio Shack the other day and the guy at the counter got things running with a 12V, 1.5A charger with tip "C".  The barrel was a little narrow, but I'm not sure how big of a deal that is.  Total cost $25, hmm.  What I'd really love is to get it working on an iGo that I could also use for my phone, iPod, etc. -- does anybody have a guide to the current status of that whole mess?

All of this, of course, is made more urgent by the fact that adapters at ilovemyxo are out of stock and xoeplosion seems to have gone away altogether.  I guess I could buy an RP, but I'd love not to buy two.  Maybe I'll try sticking a Tekkeon tip on a cheap 12V adapter...

Whups, er -- I'm assuming that Tekkeon plug "B" is this one (part number PA-L5D)?

Does anybody know if this tip will work on a standard 12V (e.g., Enercell or a cheaper version) adapter?

Yes, that's it.  I've got my XO and Tekkeon sitting on the desk right in front of me and just checked it to make sure.

If it doesn't perfectly fit another AC/DC adapter, it shouldn't be too hard to modify, especially if you intend to attach it permanently.
