I had my xo out in my local coffee shop the other day, and as you'd expect there was a lot of interest. I live in a community where people support global social projects, and now that the XO is available via Amazon, I think promoting the XO in this community could produce good results.

I'm a producer for my local cable TV station and would like to run an educational/promotional program about the XO. In the interest of expediency -- not recreating the wheel:

1. Does OLPC have an already produced program that I could just submit and have it run?

2. If not: are there any well-produced clips that I could use to create my own video?

3. Any other suggestions for getting the OLPC message out over public cable TV?

While traveling north today on I 880, Hayward, CA region (SF Bay Area), I noticed a large, full size billboard advertising the OLPC G1G1 program presently available through Amazon.

Have others seen similar promotions in their areas?

In the OLPC Community News of 11/24/08, Jim Gettys provides a link to Google Map with an overlay of all the billboard deployment locations:

I was delighted to find a billboard 17 minutes from me by car. I plan to go get a photo.
