By default, you can paste in terminal using a middle mouse button. To make the right button paste, you can either remap the mouse buttons, which will affect anything that really does use the right-click,  or you can install the quake terminal (instructions are in the file), which uses right-click to paste.

As a Firefox user, I use right click all the time to open links in new tabs, save files, etc.  Remapping the right mouse button breaks that, which of course I had blanked on.  I immediately set it back to the way it was and went to the store.

The 3 button USB mouse I picked up at Big Lots was the best $8 I've ever spent.

I avoided the quake-terminal installation for two months, but have been very glad I finally got around to it for the past week. Do the recommended backups, and you'll be okay.

Also, follow the instructions! I downloaded from my browser instead of using wget, and my machine wouldn't boot at first....

Holding off on a mouse until I can get a trackwheel model -- less space use.

Seem like you still using Sugar.
The terminal that came with XFCE, you can right click, copy past etc...
It also have tabs just like Firefox. You can change the font. Change the background to your favorite pic, color or transparency. Long story short, let just said you got the all nine yards with the terminal under XFCE.
