Hello Support Team

My G1G1 laptop has build 703.

It boots up fine.

Sometimes, the laptop will stay on the home screen, seemingly fine, until you start an app. Once an app is started, you've got about 2 minutes before the laptop freezes. The app you open works fine until the machine freezes. You can't get two apps running because the machine will freeze before the second app completes loading.

Other times, it will freeze at the home screen.

Sometimes you can move the cursor after the machine freezes (but you can't do anything), and sometimes you can't.

Sometimes the laptop duplicates the 'applications start forever'
I have reflashed Build 703 about 3 times already from the USB flash drive, to no avail.

I don't know what to do, I can barely enjoy my machine because it freezes and crashed so constantly. I would appreciate some help.

Update to 708 http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Olpc-update
If it continues, clean-install 708 http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Activated_Upgrade
All your previous data will be lost.
As a last resort try the latest firmware which is q2e12 http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Manual_Firmware_Install
If it continues, you may have a problem with the hardware
