In the "Advanced" menu on "Content" tab select font size 22 for proportional and monospace fonts, 18 for minimum font size. Set it separately for all languages that you use.

This improved things, but now in portal-like pages or in pages with multiple  windows the layout gets messy and not all the text is shown in the different windows. Even the posting page in this forum has layout problems with this settings Shocked
Surprisingly, the firefox-4 for Sugar is doing much better in displaying "viewable" pages, though it still has many other problems.
I should admit that Opera is managing much better in the viewing aspect.

Three (of six) G1 G1 systems I have just updated to what I believe is version 82 dot 1 and wanting to add Firefox I am having trouble locating proper current way to do so year 2010 April. These are units taken to Kibwezi, Kenya, in 2008 July and now being used in after-school tutoring with children of immigrant families.

Thanks, it helped me in figuring out how easily I could do this.
I was looking around some other way but failed to install Firefox but did it now.
