I get email ads from buy.com on a regular basis. The above item caught my eye because it's so reasonably priced. It's a Kingston 2GB DataTraveler USB stick for $9.77, with free shipping.

I just thought I'd pass it on, in case anyone's thinking about adding to their USB stick collection.

Hello!

With a price that low with shipping, who can justify driving to a store?

I am still trying to get an alternative OS system on a USB stick. Then, just copying the files can be transferred via sneaker net.

The XO has made a huge impact on the number of thumb drive I have.  I've gone from a single 1 gig stick to almost 5, several 1 gig SD cards, and now a 12 gig ubuntu sd card.

Damn you XO!!!

Is it compatible with linux?

I found another flash drive on buy.com call the corsair survivor 8gb for $25 (with mail in rebate) which is cheap on a gb per dollar basis. It also has free shipping.

Grin Yeah, my wallet wants to run and hide every time it sees me click on this bookmark. I've gone in search of more accessories than I can describe, as a result of buying an XO. Smiley
