We don't live in Ottawa, but we are not too far away in Morrisburg.

How are we going to get an Ottawa User Group started?

If you folks (I am assuming you are just a few folks) want to get together in our (tiny) place then we are willing to provide coffee+Tims+wifi in our house one week-end morning or afternoon.  Morrisburg is about 70 minutes south of Ottawa so it is not too bad a drive.

We could do it this coming week-end, 25 or 26th. Jan. or in two weeks time, 8th. or 9th. Feb.

There are at least 8 of us (counting the number of individual forum members who have replied so  far. Not sure what you're thinking in terms of a "few". 

I'm going to put up a post re: possible locales etc. and people can comment with their ideas on locations for the first meet-up.  Given that this *is* the internet, I recommend public places. ...

Add one more , I've been playing with my daughters for 2 weeks now.  So far I've only seen the neighbours routers online.  One of her friends was able to get chatting with it this evening, and I was able to ssh in.
