AC Adapter that works great

I found an AC adapter that works like a champ. As with some others, the connection is a bit loose but it stays connected rather easily. It is a Compaq power supply part number 239428-001. It says, "Replace with Compaq Spare 239705-001."

It is from a Compaq Evo N1000V. The computer weighs a ton but the adapter is right small and easy to tote!

Enjoy!

another perfect (and it really is a perfect fit) is the power supply for a Juniper SSG/5 router.  12V, plenty of current, and the connector seems identical to that on the XO.  the catch, of course, is that your router might want its power supply.  :-)

I can't seem to find the power specs over on the wiki; I found an IBM charger that fits, with these output specs:

16V == 3.336A ; can the XO take 16V?

Jon, the XO can indeed take 16V. It likes 1.42A, so you have plenty to spare.

Mike; thanks for the feedback!  This means I can walk even lighter by leaving my IBM charger at work and my XO charger at home.  What is the max voltage that the XO will accept?  I swear I've seen that spec on the wiki before, but couldn't find it yesterday.

For the general community, the charger I found is:
P/N 02K7006 , manufactured by Katolec Indonesia for an IBM thinkpad of some sort (the laptop has long since died or disappeared)

Chargers for the IBM Thinkpad 600/T21/T23/T30 notebook computers are interchangeable and work fine with my XO-1.
