I am one of the lucky few who have the xo already,  unfortunately I am not very skilled with programming or troubleshooting.  When my xo connects to the internet on my home wifi, I cannot inturn connect to the olpc mesh to access the web through it.

My girlfriends apartment gets week signal from open wireless signals in her building.  i was hoping to use the xo as a kind of router to pick up signal that here dell could not and then rebroadcast it within her apartment.  I thought that this was how olpc planned on sending internet access through a village with only one internet connection.

Do any of you know how or where I could find out how to access the web through my xo's mesh when it is connected to the web?

Thank YOu

The mesh is 802.11s, so you would need an adapter on the other laptop that supports that.  As far as I know, none are available outside of the XO and some development adapters that OLPC produced.  As 802.11s gets ratified by the IEEE, adapters will become available.
