Hi, I had difficulty getting several laptops to connect with one another at an XO club. We were unable to share activities. I could often see the people in the neighborhood, but sometimes, no, and sometimes yes, but i stil could not see their activity.

Here are my thoughts about possible culprits; can you offer your opinions?

If I'm connected to a public wifi site (a library), does that cause problems when I connect to a second network?

If the neighborhood status (with xo icons always current. Just because the people are there in the neighborhood, does that mean they really are?

Each mesh has a different number. I don't understand what that is about. Does a classroom  or group of XO users connect to the same mesh (i.e., mesh 1), or does it not really matter?

Is it necessary for someone to be my friend to share an activity?

If i click on another person's activity in neighborhood, is that sufficient to share an activity/

When two people need to play a shared game, should only one person click on the other person's game? Or should both people launch the activity separately and click on each other's activity?

This seems like basic functionality, yet it fails most of the time. Would the sharing problem be a result of being in different meshes?

The different numbers on the mesh icons are the channel numbers. If you want to connect to someone else you both have to be on the same mesh channel.
