WPA with ActionTec connects but browser can not reach Internet

I've finally got my ActionTec DSL router from Qwest to link to my XO.  I know that the link is working because I can get a response from a ping to google.com.

However, the browser can't get to first base!  The initial page shows a Google search box.  I entered foo.  After 3 minutes the system was still working...
soon after that, I got the message:  Network Timeout
The Journal shows:  Page Load Error.  No preview.  No description.  No tags.

I installed version 656 of the operating system, hoping that might help, but nada.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

This is not a problem with the browser software because it works fine with T-Mobile at FedEx.

Snipped from another forum:

1. Open the Browse activity.
2. In the location bar, type about:config
3. Type ipv6 in the "filter" field; this should show you a line that says something like "ipv6 disabled: false" and some other stuff.
4. Double-click on that line to change it to "disabled: true"
5. Browse away!

I did this and can now browse the Internet at home!
