Dear All XO Gurus,

I really like the ultra slick Apple keyboard. Please refer to the following URL to see the actual keyboard. (http://www.apple.com/keyboard/)So I was wondering if anyone has successfully installed the Apple Keyboard.

My concern is the following:
The keyboard aforementioned has the following system requirement -
    *  Mac computer with available USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 port
    * Mac OS X v10.4.10 or later
    * Keyboard software update

Since XO is running on Linux, can I use it?

It works. I'm pretty sure the software update etc. is just to make the special modifier keys work. But pretty much any USB keyboard should work with any USB-equipped computer these days, and that's true for the XO and the apple keyboard.

What about a bluetooth dongle and the wireless? has anybody got
one of those to run??

For what its worth, I just tried the wired Apple Keyboard (the white version, not the new, slim, aluminum version) and wired Mighty Mouse on my XO laptop, and both worked fine.

hrm...  I really think the apple keyboards are the way to go since they fit the portability of the XO so nicely.  I really want the wireless one but I'm waiting on bluetooth.  The wired would work, but I don't want nor need the keypad.

Reviving an old discussion, I've got an iMac and love the slender, compact aluminum keyboard (wired).  This thread confirms that it worked on early builds, but it seems no longer to be recognized by my xo (os439dx).

Anyone using one with an xo-1 now?  What build and did it "just work" or did you have to do more than plug and play?
