Just keeping a list of what we've experimented with:

Me - view your mind

www.sourceforge.net/vym

It was okay, but a little difficult to use on the XO.  Not sugarized but very light.

At the Philly XO meeting in January, one of our members brought a one-handed keyboard that he uses. It's a USB device and to demonstrate it, he plugged it into my XO and it worked fine -- no drivers or special software was needed.

I didn't think to ask what the brand name was, but what I do remember was that like a braille keyboard, it produced letters and characters when the user typed chords (various combinations of keys).

My friend has a braille display for his computer (a Windows box) that has a USB connection. If I can track down something that will let the XO talk to it, I'm itching to try it out.
