Very happy to report that if you get a message that says "Your donation is at our warehouse and your laptop is in the process of being shipped" they really mean it. I just checked the Fedex site and indeed my G1G1D2 order shipped yesterday (29 Jan) and should arrive 2 Feb.

Order reference: 7000022XXX

For my day one donation (I have 3 more eventually coming), I have been getting "Your donation is at our warehouse and your laptop is in the process of being shipped" all week. I finally have a tracking number. Should arrive on Thursday! Reference number 7000007xxx.

mine still says "in the ware house ready to be shipped"
and the fed-ex alternative tracking still has no results...
i will try later today, or tomorrow mid morning.

day 1 donor... i've been checking the olpc page for updates, it just says "Your donation is at our warehouse and your laptop is in the process of being shipped." since they "fixed it"... and when i go to check the fedex page, nothing.

today, i check the olpc page, the same "Your donation is at our warehouse..." checking the fedex page, now there's a tracking number!

it's seems like the olpc and fedex are not sync-ed...

My reference number brings up the "...issue verifying your address...".

I corrected my address on December 28th and called back twice to verify it was still correct. However, I decided to call back today and verify once again.

It is still correct and the nice young woman told me I should be getting one of the next shipment sometime in March.

Also, she said that I will keep seeing the same verifying address message until my order has an actual tracking number.

So for this Day one, hour one donor - my first come, first served will be in March, hopefully.
