I called them twice and both times was told someone would call me back within a couple of days. No one has ever called back. In the meantime, I ended up having to pay $40 to use T-Mobile in the States for 4 days. Grrr.

You are best to e-mail them. I used the address they sent items to me. I believe it is "service@" one (at laptop.org)....

I received my pin within 3 or 4 days that way (I haven't actually activated it yet)

Hi,

After receiving the Your OLPC laptop has shipped email (two months after I actually received the XO), I was able to activate my T-mobile subscription too. I needed it for Internet access two weeks ago when I flight to the States, but at least it will be ready for next opportunity.
Roaming is not included in the subscription, which would have been of great use for us foreigners. We could have used it in other parts of the World, like Canada or Europe, you know, countries where Coca-Cola is not the national beverage...
