Is the startup chime copyrighted?

Based on this: http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Licenses I'm assuming that the startup chime could be used for derivative works -- but maybe it doesn't count as "content." Does anyone else know otherwise?

Good question, I read somewhere that it was done by U2's Bono or The Edge.

Yes, it was The Edge. I would be surprised if anyone could get in trouble for using it for a non-commercial work based on OLPC's attitude toward licensing, but you never know.
