Broken power adaptor!

I stuffed my laptop and charged in with my gym kit in my rucksack. Unfortunately, the whole bag swung from my shoulder and hit the floor with a good thump. The laptop was undamaged apart from two little chunks of rubber taken out of the right ear. However, one of the power adaptor pins was ripped right off.
Fortunately an old scanner power adaptor I have seems to work (even though it only supplies 500mA at 10v) albeit slowly...

1) Can we buy replacement power adaptors? The shipped adaptor was very lightweight and ideal for carrying around.
2) Can we buy replacement power adaptors that have multiple plugs for travelling? Part of the reason the pin came off is because the US style power pins are so flimsy in comparison to a EU style 2 pin, or (best of all) a solid 3 pin UK style plug. As I'm based in the UK, a 3 pin or 2 pin EU plug would be ideal as it does not require an adaptor to get it into a UK socket.

Replacement adapters (and batteries) are not available yet from OLPC.

I haven't found a third-party wall transformer replacement with the same size and specifications as what shipped with the XO. And on top of that, the XO power plug is tough to find bundled with the appropriate transformer.

You can piece together a solution with a worldwide transformer from Maplin in the UK:

... and this laptop plug set:

The iGo power adapter system, which is sold internationally, has a tip (S5) that fits the XO and works with their various laptop power kits. The iGo laptop kits put out much more power than the XO needs, so they are really only worth the investment if you need a universal system to power another larger laptop and some other devices such as cell, GPS, game device.
